About America Experiences
Most travel articles tell you what to see. America Experiences exists to answer the harder question that comes next: which experience should you actually book?
What we do
We cover ten US destinations in depth — New York City, Las Vegas, New Orleans, San Francisco, Miami, Washington DC, Hawaii, the Grand Canyon, Los Angeles and Orlando. For each one we publish decision guides that compare the bookable tours and tickets actually available, using criteria travelers care about: duration, group size, pickup, what is included, what is excluded, and who each option suits.
What we verify
Facts that change — entrance rules, closures, fees, reservation requirements, operating status — are checked against primary sources such as the National Park Service, the Bureau of Reclamation, state wildlife agencies, city governments and official visitor centers, and we record when we last checked. Experience data (ratings, review counts, durations, prices) comes from Viator's own product feed rather than from our own estimates, and only experiences with at least 1,000 traveler reviews are eligible to appear anywhere on the site.
What we do not do
- We do not invent awards, ratings, prices, discounts or scarcity.
- We do not claim to have personally taken a tour. Where we have not, we say so and rely on verifiable operator and agency information instead.
- We do not present publications that have merely been cited as partners, sponsors or endorsers. Citation is not endorsement.
- We do not sell placement. Commission never decides a recommendation.
How we make money
